Exhaust flap replacement 2018 CB 31

Hi Everyone,

Can someone give me a part number and source where I can buy a replacement exhaust flap. My original has been damaged by water critters chewing on it.

If you download the catalog for Plumbing you will find the exhaust thru hull. I would call them for the part number.

Reposting request after following up with Marine Hardware and Eddie Marine regarding a replacement exhaust flap for a 2018 RT 31CB. The flap has a diameter of 4 7/8 inches.

I couldn't find an appropriately sized exhaust flap, but a 12" x 18" sheet of 1/4" neoprene was about $20 at the local NAPA. Measure & cut with heavy scissors, then drill (slightly undersized) holes for the mounting screws. I think I made about eight of them from that sheet.

FYI, this isn't the same kind of spongy neoprene your wetsuit is made of, it's a solid rubber material. Flexes easily and doesn't seem to mind being in the water all the time.

If there is/was a chrome flange on the outside of the flap, make sure there is a bonding wire on the inside on one of the bolts and run to your galvanic system .... mine did not have one / had to replace as flange was rusted away / put bonding wire on it, and no more deterioration.
