Our 2015 Ranger R21-EC has an A.C. connection mounted on the stern bench locker. It is hard wired to the battery charger. I wanted to have A.C. power available in the cabin primarily to run a dehumidifier while the boat sits on the trailer in the driveway.
I didn’t want to run an extension cord that required leaving the door, hatches or windows open. Additionally, I believe there may be times when I would like to have A.C. power in the cabin for other purposes at a marina.
I found a Plug Power Inlet with Dual 18-Inch Integrated Extension Cords on Amazon that replaces the existing power plug and adds an extra extension outlet,

This plug inlet also has a much better weather seal cap than the original. It was a simple swap but did require three new mounting screws as the old locations didn’t align. I also had to add a plug to the end of the power cable leading to the battery charger. I chose a Leviton 5266-C, 15 Amp, 125 Volt, Industrial Grade, Plug

Then I ran an outdoor rated extension cord along the port side of the boat inside the hull exiting inside the port storage cabinet. I used an electrical fish tape to pull the cord.
