On the R25, there are two Contura III switches mounted side by side in a bracket in the cockpit, near the transom door. These control the courtesy lights and underwater lights. The Contura switches are gasketed and weatherproof, but the bracket is not. It is press fit into a hand-cut hole with no gasket or sealant. This makes servicing easy, but allows water in. Has anybody done anything to weatherproof this bracket? I like being able to pop it out, so rather than use silicone I’m thinking of 3D printing a tiny rain hood for the switches.
