Extra key

We leave a boat key with our marina for emergencies and USUALLY remember to carry one to the boat. We'd like to have another I can't find a duplicating facility, not hardware stores, home depot type etc. that can make one. Anyone have another idea?

I also recall that people in the past have had difficulty finding a place that will cut a new Key blank…. something about it being laser cut etc…. but dunno for sure.

A local locksmith store cut both a door and an ingition key for me at a cost of a few $ each. They used blanks which were part of their regular stock and cut the keys using the standard grinder type key cutter.

For anyone on the east coast near Boston, Benton locksmiths in Boston had both the blanks for volvo and trioving in stock.
