After additional investigation into the malfunctioning AC system on my 21 EC I found the following. The thru hull for the AC system is patent, the raw water strainer is open and clear. The AC water pump worked flawlessly (I removed the unit and connected it to power). The blower blows and there is condensation on the coils so I think the compressor is working BUT when everything is connected and I turn the unit ON with the temperature set at 60 degrees (Temp inside the cabin is 70) the water pump does not work. All the electrical connections are tight. I've done all I know how to do. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would appreciate any feedback.

Hi Karl,

I had a problem with the water pump on my new 2013 R21EC shortly after I turned it on. Emile Petro and the great staff from Edgewater Yacht Sales found a service company, IceMarine in my area to access the problem. While I am sure my unit is not the same as yours the problem may be. Ranger had mounted the raw water pump in the cabinet on the port side under the A/C vent. The relult was that the pump was to high and losing its prim every time it was turned on. Ice Marine made a Star Board platform and mounted the pump under the port side V-birth. I have not had a problem since while underway in south Florida heat 85-90F.
