I have had my factory Bimini on my 2023 R25 re-stitched entirely due to the thin factory thread that has torn multiple times when I remove the Bimini to clean it. Last week I had all areas completely re-sewn. The issue now is that in some areas where the original threads fell apart, there are small holes in the canvas that allow water to penetrate, even though I cover the bimini every year with 3M waterproofing, the rainwater still seeps through the small holes. Any suggestions to help prevent this would be appreciated. I had a custom rear cockpit cover built that zips to the bimini.

Anyone aware of a hard-top option or fabricator on the West Coast (California)?IMG_6032.jpg

I’m thinking something like tent seam sealer should do the trick. Lots of options online.

Seam sealer would probably work. I took my Bimini to a repair shop to have the seams and zippers redone after a windstorm caused some issues and they said that the original polyester thread does deteriorate over time with UV exposure and they use a Teflon thread that is thinner and a bit harder to work with but will last longer in the sun.
