On 16-17 Oct 17, we met our Laurene Green 2018 R-29S for the first time. What a beautiful boat!!!!!!!!!

We also completed the Factory Delivery Experience. Tim and Kenny of Ranger Tugs were both OUTSTANDING in their knowledge of the boat and went above and beyond to answer our questions and ensure we were 100% satisfied.

We highly recommend the Factory Delivery Experience. The information and hands on training is well worth your time and money.

See you on the water soon.

Mike and Kathy

Don't tell anyone but the real OUTSTANDING thing about Kenny and Tim is that they will continue to take your calls, even with caller ID, when you have simple questions about things that they covered in the delivery ;-)

Kudos to those guys on helping me to understand the water pump, the SONAR, the inverter, the batteries etc etc...

Still learning tons!

I agree.

Tim & Kenny did my 2-day factory experience for my new R-27/OB on Aug 16/17 this year at my marina. The boat was delivered on Aug 16, 2017 at my marina.

Tim was able to answer with authority for almost all my questions and concerns (some where impromptu) , except for...

1) The hot water heater gallon capacity - was it 4, 6 or 8 gallons ?
2) Why the Nav seat would not fold over completely (since resolved after finding a factory installed hinge bolt to resist folding for safety reasons presumably - I removed the bolt)
3) Why the TV was not receiving any TV channels (since resolved by Kevin who came to the boat to install a signal booster)
4) Why the propane stove burner would not light up (since resolved by a fella Tugnut at the Roche Harbour meeting in Sept)
5) Where was the missing teak strip on the shelf in front of the Nav seat to help stop items sliding off to port when the port side Nav seat's window happen to be open (have been told this strip was only installed on the R-27/OB prototype model)

I had assembled some 80 questions on paper prior to Tim's arrival which I did not reveal to Tim at the outset. At the end of the day we both went over my 80 questions and agreed he had touched on all 80. Very impressive if you ask me.

Kenny did an admirable job the next day and was insisting at the end of the day I stern in with starboard tie more times than I really had the patience for...

We also recieved the factory delivery experience. Very thorough, but after two full days, its definitely information overload. You'll forget more than you remember. We took pages of notes and we're still referring back to them. Definitely something to consider, especially with all the systems on our boats.

In addition to the other positive comments posted here about the "Factory Delivery Experience" I would like to add another benefit. Whether you are new to boating and or Ranger Tugs/Cutwater Boats, a seasoned veteran or anywhere in between the "Factory Delivery Experience" is well worth it. We've boated for a long time, the last 6 years with our R27, with my initial thought being that I didn't need to spend the time with the "Experience" before we took delivery of Kismet R29S in August, boy was I wrong, dead wrong. Tim and Kenny did a wonderful and thorough indoctrination of our new R29S, making the transition about as seamless as one could expect taking over the wheel of a new boat. New boater, old salt or anywhere in between the program they put together is just another way Fluid Motion separates themselves from the competition.
