Factory Support For Older Ranger/Cutwater Discontinued

There is an easy way to find out.

Ranger Tugs Team - has there been a change in your support? If so, appreciate some background so all understand.

Thanks much.

First off, the majority of posts that start off as " I heard from a reputable source" are false. Name the source or confirm with the company before posting. Secondly, this company is all about service. Comments and experiences posted on this site overwhelmingly support the great service on new and older boats. It stands to reason that as a boat gets older you may have difficulty getting a part and you may have to search around. This company does not make parts. They buy them just like you.
Great service and a great line of boats at a reasonable price point is what you have here. Appreciated by many.

After reading the response, I don't think we need to respond. We have nothing to prove at this point. Our service group will continue to grow and our support will continue to improve.

And there it is, from the horses mouth per say. Thanks Andrew for making Fluid Motions stance crystal clear for anyone not 100% certain. Now we can get back to more important things like joker valves, best waxes to use or how to bleed a fuel filter.

Thank you Andrew! I don't think there was ever any doubt. You guys are awesome! Keep up the good work!

Boy that is really the deal with the C-Dory company...once sold the new owners totally dropped the group...no support at all...they do not even return e-mail ...they are in the production of boats purely for profit...nothing else.... I actually have been thinking of selling my C-Dory and buying a Ranger...it used to be one of the best parts of owning the boat ...the factory involvement....real friends. But that was the old company that now owns and builds Ranger...Jeff and the family..good folks...(Your folks) I really can not fathom them not supporting older Rangers...just not that sort of people..

We bought a 2016 Cutwater 30 from a private party earlier this year so of course we expected no dealer support. And we had no idea how much factory support there would be, although we had assurance that the Cutwater warranty carried to us. We've been amazed by the support we've had. We were invited on a shakedown cruise by Sundance Yachts and Cutwater, a great learning experience. Cutwater replaced the aft deck table at the request of the folks who sold us the boat, it had delaminated and they just took care of it. As I learn the boat and its systems I've contacted people at Cutwater and Sundance several times and got timely responses. I think they like helping people solve problems! And its good business too.
