I've tried 3 different computers / tablets and when I try to get on the company web site i get directed to register.com with a message that ranger tugs.com is coming soon. anyone else having this problem?

I just tried the same link I've been using for almost a year and I arrived at the same wrong site as you.... something is definitely broken.

http://rangertugs.com is the URL and the site is up and running fine.

Just enter rangertugs.com (the http:// is pre-pended by the browser. Or, click here.

Drop the www - not sure why/how register.com is hijacking the domain.

Cheers,

Bruce

With www w/out www; or using the link on the prior post; or using the link on this site...the site is down! Unless Ranger Tugs is also now selling Ford Vehicles ;-)

Looks like the domain name was not renewed....or the host is down.

For those who can bring up a command prompt,
Type the following:

Tracert www.rangertugs.com

Resulting ip address is malware site

I sent a note to Andrew....

Have tried various links. Looks like the site domain name has been hi-jacketed.

Makes ya wonder when tugnuts will go

The route on the web traces to http://69.73.142.146/ which will not let me in without a password.
This site identifies itself as booboo.olymoly.net
Normally, if the rent on the URL lapses you get redirected to a page offering to rent the domain to you.
I quit digging into the technical end of the web long ago so I cannot tell if this is the end of a hijack redirect, or what.

Just tried adding the www. in front of rangertugs.com and the factory site came up...

I just tried that and still no joy 🙁

Also no joy. Anyone that gets it to come up is probably looking at a cached page, not a recent page. If they hit "refresh" it will go the hijacked site.

The factory is aware of the temporary outage and is addressing it. Allow some time for the fix to propagate through the domain name system (DNS).

Cheers,

Bruce

Hello All,

The Ranger Tug website will be back up and running soon.

"Not a malware site! We switched web hosting servers last night and there was as hiccup. We are currently waiting for the DNS servers to propagate around the net then the site will be back up and running."

Thank you for letting us know.

Working now.

FYI, It can take as many as 5 days for a change to propagate to ALL the DNS servers around the world. Just have to be patient.

It is working up here in the great Northeast.
