Faulty Fresh Water Tank Gauge

The fresh water tank gauge on my new 25SC tug shows full at all water levels. It appears to be jammed at this position but despite taking the boat out in rough conditions in an attempt to release the sensor it still shows full. Any suggestions ?

You can easily determine if the issue is a stuck float or the gauge. To test the gauge:
- Remove power to the gauge.
- Disconnect the black wire on the gauge to the sender.
- Turn on the power to the gauge.
- Gauge will show Empty.
- Ground the black wire and the needle will go to Full.
If it is a stuck float (mine got stuck in the empty position) you may want to try operating your boat in a small chop instead of large waves. Large waves wouldn't unstick my float but a small wave did the trick.
I also believe that you can access the float by removing the refrigerator but I haven't confirmed this.
