It's time for February's Photo Contest!

This month's theme revolves around: What do you LOVE about your boat? Send us a photo and description of something in particular that you love about your boat! Do you have a special story about it, or the places you've visited while boating? Maybe it's a feature that you couldn't live without, it's up to you!

We'll be taking submissions until 11:59pm February 29th

Please send your photos to briandickhaut@rangertugs.com

If you're not familiar with our Tugnuts Monthly Photo Contest, every month we give away a pair of custom embroidered Ranger Tugs or Cutwater Boats jackets! Each month has a new theme and entry in the contest is simple, just email your photo and a description or comment to briandickhaut@rangertugs.com and at the end of the month we'll hold a vote here at the factory to select the winner. If you win, we'll announce it here on Tugnuts and send you an email to arrange your free jackets.

"The thing I love the most about my boat is spending time with my kickass wife, Laura."

From Albert T.

"I love that we can go up to 10 days in a row tucked into beautiful small coves to explore amazing islands without the need for anything other than the occasional fresh water refill. Here’s our R25 Classic stern tied at Wallace Island in the Gulf Islands, BC."

"Just 30 minutes from home I can be sunbathing, reading, or flying a drone.

Easy access fun and relaxation is key to getting value out of a boat and a cutwater makes it easy!"

From Janet M.

"I love that my boat is warm and cozy regardless of weather in the Pacific Northwest ❤"

"The flybridge on our C30CB is by far the best feature of our boat. We operate the boat exclusively from the upper helm and could not imagine not having it. With our 3/4 enclosure, we can enjoy boating almost 365 days a year in Southern California (weather permitting) as the enclosure blocks wind making it possible to cruise around comfortably enjoying the elevated views even when the air temperatures are in the 40s-50s. As a scuba diver, it's also nice that I can operate the boat while still in my wetsuit and not worry about dripping saltwater all over the inside of the salon!"

"What we love about our boat is that it can take us all the way from home to here in warmth and luxury!"

"The thing I love most about my tugboat is seeing it through my daughter's eyes. Proud owner of TUG LIFE, a 2009 R-21EC home ported in Alameda, CA."

I was going to submit a picture, but how do you top that?!

From Rodney W.

"What we love about our boat is how great a kayak holder it is!"

"While all our friends up north are waiting for the snow to melt, here in Florida we’re cruising and watching the beautiful sunsets!"

"I like the shallow draft that lets me put the bow on the beach and have the prop in 6 feet of water."

From Captain Joe K.

"This time of year, in Maine, the boat is high and dry, so I have to look to other things which feature the Ruby Belle.

Two years ago I bought a house up the road from our Marina. We are only the second owners of the house and one of the first things I had to do was cut down a large birch tree which was rotting and too close to the house. It was a special tree to the prior owners. So I saved a branch and had a friend of mine who does woodworking make up a set of coasters for them. He etched an outline of the house and they love them.

Little did i know, he started work on another set for me, which i just received. Everyone loves my little Ranger Tug, put putting up and down the Saco River and out into the Atlantic. So much so that i run charter cruises on her during the summer.

I love my new set of coasters, and it's my submission for photo of the month."

From Rick and Loie

"We LOVE that our Ranger 21 "Fun Spot" gave birth to a beautiful Ranger
27, also now fondly called "Fun Spot". (Fortunately our Ranger 21 was
adopted by a wonderful couple in Norfolk, VA!.)"

There were so many amazing photos and fun stories this month, it would have been a tough call if it were up to me alone. Luckily we sent them out to the factory for a vote and the results are in!

The winner for February's Tugnuts Photo Contest is Tyler S.

"The thing I love most about my tugboat is seeing it through my daughter's eyes. Proud owner of TUG LIFE, a 2009 R-21EC home ported in Alameda, CA."
