Hi everyone,
I’m looking for opinions and feedback on a concept I’m currently market testing for my future Ranger R27.
I’ve read a lot over the years about people (myself and my wife included) wishing there was a way to actually try the trawler lifestyle before making the leap into ownership, but usually coming up empty when searching for rentals or real hands-on experiences.
My idea is to use my Ranger R27, hire a local captain and offer personal guided cruising experiences along the NC ICW from Swansboro through Morehead City / Beaufort and up toward Oriental.
The goal would be to let people experience the trawler, the ICW, the coastal towns- Swansboro/MHC/Beaufort/Oriental NC and the 'looper' lifestyle. I really want to offer a try before you buy type service so folks can feel what the lifestyle is really like before potentially buying a boat themselves.
I’m also considering overnight trips as part of the concept.
I do have a website set up for anyone interested in learning more, but mainly I’m just looking for honest opinions, thoughts, concerns, or feedback from experienced boaters and cruisers.
