Fender and Dock-line Sizes for a 2021-27OB

I would like to add a couple more fenders and dock-lines to my 2021-27OB. What are the sizes of fender and diameter of dock-line I need to match?

We recommend 1/8" of line diameter for every 9' of boat length. Larger lines will wear longer but stretch less.

We have a 2020 R27OB and ours came with 7/16" fender lines and the G5 fenders from PolyForm. We bought two more fenders from Amazon and the fender lines from https://mooringlines.com/

Our RT27-OB came with 5/8" dock lines and the G5 Polycom fenders.

I wouldn't go with anything less than 1/2 inch. I use 5/8 inch. The price difference is insignificant the added strength is worth the peace of mind.

I use inflatable fenders, when not in use I deflate and store, takes very little space, For docks I use 42 x12 and 24 x 12. Total of three. For locks I use 24” inflatable ball fenders, larger diameter keeps the boat further from the sea wall so my nose stays clean :roll: and still use the walk way.
