I thought i posted this earlier, but it doesn't show up. If it is a repeat, my apologies:
Sundance Marina on Hayden Island, Portland is on fire. It went to at least 4 alarms during the night. We can't tell from the TV video if the boats in the water are involved. Sundance is mostly a dry marina with 350 boats stored on stacks in the large heated building, and from what can be seen on TV, and what the news is reporting, the building is a total loss.
Although Then Again relocated from Sundance to the Multnomah Channel last fall, we have many friends who will suffer from this fire. And of course all of us who loves boats are saddened whenever such a tragedy visits the Marine Community.
Sundance hosted a gathering of Rangers and Cutwaters last fall to celebrate their appointment as a Cutwater dealer.
