I have a 2021 R29s and am looking to get audio from the salon tv through the Fusion system/speakers. When sourcing from the Fusion DVD player it works fine (as expected since the Fusion DVD player is the A/V source) but I've recently installed an amazon firestick on the salon tv and can't see how to get the sound to route via the Fusion system. Sound from the firestick works on the local TV system just fine. Anyone tried anything similar? Thanks in advance for any info.

We connected an RCA cable from the TV audio out to the AUX2 audio in on the Fusion. OTOH, depends on the models whether they have those, and how far the cable run is. (Our systems were only 2 feet apart).

I used Bluetooth transmitter receivers on both tvs to accomplish this in my c30-cb. One is plugged into my fusion stereo aux 2 in, and one on each tv headphone output. The tv ones are in tx mode, fusion in rx mode. The only drawback I’ve found to this is that they need to be recharged occasionally and I haven’t been able to figure out how to sync the audio to the picture, the lips are off/delayed.

1Mii Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter Receiver for TV, 2-in-1 Wireless Aux Adapter 3.5mm Jack, aptX Low Latency Dual Link, Bluetooth Transmitter for TV/PC, Bluetooth Receiver for Speaker/Home Stereo/Car https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B092MBHBRJ/ ... UTF8&psc=1

These are both very useful responses, thank you. Wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious and I'm not. So either old school RCA cable run or BT adaptors. Will likely be the second option given the cable run distance and routing challenges. Thanks again to both of you!

Hi Strangecrew,

Looks like there are several good answers to help you get that end result, so I'll just chime in to confirm that you will need to take one of these routes, as the system as standard does not have a function to send audio from the TV back into the system itself. At least this way you'll know for sure you're on the right track.

Cheers,

Ralf

Hi,
I have a 2018 RT 31CB. I have a Fire stick on both tv's. I set audio up specifically for the fire stick by turning on bluetooth discovery mode on the fusion and turned on bluetooth on the fire stick. The fusion found both fire sticks and its audio now comes through the speakers. No wires and no issues.
Hope this helps.

Ahhh, of course! So obvious in hindsight! Ok, I'll check this in a few days but this is the way to do it. Many thanks!

On a 2017 29S, you can access the back of radio through the defroster motor vent for the windshield. Any new wires can be hidden in corner of clothes closet Rod area. There are enough gaps that no holes need drilling. Between eBay and Amazon, you should be able to find any wire connectors, no matter how weird.

I still have to verify but I think pairing via BT between firestick and fusion is the way to go. I'm really kicking myself for not realizing that firesticks support BT out. I've happily played music from my phone/spotify via BT to the fusion so I know that works and I'd be very surprised if the firestick BT audio out to fusion didn't work as described. Will report back when tested.

<orders fire sticks>….

Good to know about Fire stick! We are Roku fans but it doesn't have BT out (it has an alternative proprietary wireless audio). For us, the cable is super easy but in other setups BT could make more sense.

I installed the Firestick 4k MAX on both my TV's yesterday, replacing the Roku + bluetooth transmitter solution. Both Firesticks are working flawlessly, connected directly via bluetooth to my Fusion head unit. Thanks to the AV sync adjustment settings in the Firestick, I was able to solve the lipsync issue as well. While the Firestick doesn't natively support AirPlay, there's a $2 app called "Air Receiver" which enables the functionality of streaming from my apple devices, and this also works flawlessly. Love all the good stuff I learn on this forum!
