Fischer Panda 5000 AC Diesel Marine Generator

My mechanic has quoted a Fischer Panda 5000 AC Deisel Marine Generator 120 volt - 60 Hz for my 25SC. The boat came with the Luxury Package which included Wabasco Deisel Heater. I’d like an aftermarket generator installed for times when we’re on a mooring or at anchor. We’re also considering an after market AC install - which my mechanic quoted 6000 BTU Air Conditioning System - (Heat Pump with Heating and Cooling) plus
Heat Pump Instalation Kit - (Sea strainer - All Plumbing, Ducting, and Venting).

Does anyone have perspective/experience with the Fischer Panda 5000? I’ve read a few less than enthusiastic reviews.

I've heard mediocre things. I've heard nextGen is better!

The Luxury editions were equipped with A/C w/reverse cycle heat. A webasto heater was likely a custom add-on. For gen sets I would also look at Westerbeke.
