I’m coming to Florida in March without my tug, but I want to fish. I’m thinking of SW FL around Sanibel or on the other coast, Indian river, Satellite, Port St. Lucie
I want to rent a boat for a week.
What are your preferences for March fishing? Gulf side or Atlantic? Inside or outside or both?

We live on the gulf side and I fish from our R-29. Inshore you'll find plenty of redfish, snook, grouper, snapper, speckled trout, sheepshead, jacks, and tarpon. Offshore (depending on how far out you go) are cobia, mahi, jacks, yellowfin, and billfish. Check the regulations online for current bag limits and season openings/closings. Red tide has been a problem, especially down in the area you mention, but at the time of the year you're coming it's likely to be not too bad.

Thanks for the advice
