Just acquired a 2009 R25 and live in Kodiak, AK, which is fishing country. Couple of questions to preserve the looks of this great boat.

1. Flooring: would like to keep the teak and holly floor looking like new. The R25 came with the carpet flooring cover. Any ideas for a nice fitting protective cover for the cabin floor?

2. We are catching some nice sized halibut and salmon, and the cockpit would remain much cleaner if we kept the fish in the swim platform area, any ideas for handling large fish off the back? (store in a big cooler, custom box, harpoon the fish with a float, other ideas?)

Thanks, Z

I was cruising the Tiugnuts site and found this posting. I too have a 2009 R25 and have converted it to Charter Fishing use. I hung a fish box off a railing I had built and I installed on the existing swim grid. Check the photo album to see. I use sail sheet hardware to attach and detach the box whenever I want.
