So. My wife and I will be going to Poets cove with the Ranger group. Afterwards, she will be returning home and I will be staying on for at least another week. I am looking for a little local knowledge regarding fishing in the area, Washington & Canada. What is going on? Is anything open? How far do I have to travel to find reasonable fishing, (Canada?). Any help would be appreciated. I will have crab trap(s) and fishing gear on board, mostly salmon but I could bring halibut gear and shrimp trap(s) if that makes sense.

If you ever need info about central Oregon salt would be happy to trade information.
