Fishing Rod Holders

I would like to put overhead rod holders in the salon of my Cutwater C28. Has anyone done this or know if it is sturdy enough to attach and hold them.

I thought about it many times but never wanted to drill holes in my nice looking C302 ceiling. I can fit 4 rods on the granny seat and, if more space is needed, I keep a large strip of rug protector that can be thrown over the main berth. Putting them in quarter berth is a last resort as it's a pain to take them out and put them in.

I have stuck the DU-BRO Fishing Trac-A-Rod Storage System to the ceiling with 3M Double Sided Tape Heavy Duty, VHB Tape. If you go Du-Bro’s website the tracks and holders, come in different colors.
