I am aware of the importance of periodic maintenance of flooded cell batteries. However, my flooded cell
Centennial DC27MF MCA 890 House Batteries (R23), Indicates "Maintenance Free" on label and no easily discernible way to check fluid level in battery. I just see one circular recessed disk by the negative terminal that does not seem easily removable. So ,how do I check battery fluid level?
 
Maintenance free means that you don't. No way to check or add fluid. In theory any fluid that vaporizes due to heat during charging is condensed and returned to the cell.
