Force 10 Oven not getting up to temperature

Have any of you had problems with your Force 10 propane oven not heating properly? It is apparently supposed to get to 485 degrees but ours will only go to about 325 as measured by an oven thermometer, and that after 45 minutes of heating at “full throttle.” The biscuits and scones are coming out pretty tough and chewy, not light and fluffy like they’re supposed to. I think it used to get a bit hotter but I doubt it ever reached 485. I wondered if maybe the solenoid or the stock regulator is undersized for the oven. We have tried heating the oven with no other burners ignited and no other draws on the propane. Anyone had this problem and found a fix?

Could be the thermocouple is defective. I would call the manufacturer and ask their opinion.

Thanks. Yes, the thermocouple would be an additional possibility. Apparently this is not a common issue. I’ll try giving them a call. Turns out, the manufacturer is right across the Georgia Strait from Nanaimo where we are currently moored (working our way back down from our Alaska trip).
