Had anyone found a good solution to deflect the powerful air flow from the AC vent in the forward berth?

Thanks
Joe

My input may not be any help; my vent is likely in a different spot than yours (in shelving above the head sink on the R23), and I guess we don’t have the kind of flow you’re dealing with, but I use a clip on fan attached to the side of the shelf unit to direct the flow to where it’s comfortable for us.

The placement of the forward AC vent inside the shelf above the sink puzzled me?? Thinking about intending the vent through the shelf and to the outside shelf wall to better redirect the air. Otherwise, anything you put on the shelf blocks the vent. My 2 cents

I must agree.....we freeze with the placement of the vent above the First Mate! Our fix has been to cool the stateroom until bedtime....then shut it off and place a fan directing the a/c from the galley/helm area into the stateroom. That’s been working so far :/

“Sunshine”

Sunshine we do the same. Works quite well.

Have you heard about the guy that kept calling his furnace repair guy because all winter long his thermostat kept going up a few degrees after he reset it? Diagnosis from the repair guy was: "You are married." Lucky for me the air conditioning vent is on my side of the bed so we are both comfortable.
