Fourth of July Fireworks!

Hello all!

We just purchased our new R25 and will be finished with all the training on the 3rd of July!
We're hoping to take it out in the Sound and watch fireworks somewhere. Wondering if anyone has any good spots for fireworks viewing. We're hoping to avoid the crowds of Lake Union and stay in the Sound somewhere (doesn't have to be the Seattle fireworks). Any ideas would be appreciated!

The best spot I've found for fireworks is La Conner. The natives, who make the fireworks, shoot off everything that didn't sell. The show is at the 3 huts across the Swinomish channel, directly across from La Conner. 2.5 hours of non-stop fireworks. No joke. 10pm - 12:30am. Non.Stop. Fantastic fireworks show!!

We have sat out in Elliott Bay and watch the fireworks off of the Space needle on New Year's Eve several years in a row. It's not that busy and for us it's a short trip back into the duwamish to our moorage. You could reserve a site in Belle Harbor downtown and motor right back in and sleep on the boat
