Well the Lola B has started her return home from the Broughtons. It has been the adventure of a lifetime. Our R29S has taken us to dream locations of amazing beauty and up close wildlife. However, we may have just found an amazing location. The Gowlland Harbour Resort on Quadra Island. It is recommended in Nation Geographic's 'Canada's 50 Places of a Lifetime'. It is a bit hard to find from the water. It is the second dock on the port when entering Gowlland Harbour from the north. It is a small dock accommodating about 6 boats. No electric but has water.

Now the best part is that if you make reservations for dinner moorage is free! But it gets better. The dinner is not overpriced and the admiral and I agreed it was without a doubt one of the two best dinners ever.

Thanks for the tip Lola B, its aways nice to learn of new places to check out. Sounds like you had an amazing trip to the Broughtons.
