Freezer setting

Wondering on what number those of you with cockpit freezers set your units to? Haven't used ours in a couple of years and can't remember where we set it when we did use it. Thanks!

Our cockpit freezer freezes to 10 degrees set to 6. We keep a small freezer fridge thermometer in the so we know the temp. Some times we turn the number lower and use it as a refrigerator. So then we can adjust the dial so the temp is 40 degrees.
