I had more then 1 person tell me how driving from inside was one thing they would miss with a tug... Well my GF and I cruised around the lake at 5mph sitting in deck chairs on the bow using the remote.. I have never been more outside driving a boat in my life 🙂 ..

On rare calm conditions, I used to drive our Corsair Trimaran from the front nets, with an autopilot remote. BUT, when the weather turned crappy, there really wasn't any way to drive it from inside. I really like my pilothouse protected helm.

Grandpa Mark,

"driving from inside was one thing they would miss with a tug"

I assume you meant to say outside? That is one factor which I ponder all the time, wether I would enjoy driving from the inside. Can't afford a boat that offers both.

Yes outside .. On my iPhone a lot and between miss typing and auto correcting Its a wonder I make any sense.. I really looked hard at having two boats but in the end I made what I feel was the right choice.. Granted there are some times I feel i would like faster and wind in my face But over all driving around in a comfortable living room with heat and air and no canvas to put up and down is pretty nice

Okay, you add in heat and air (borderline cheating  ) and you've got me for sure. I'm happy with just getting some shade and a breeze here in the midwest.
