On Lil Toot our 2008 R25 our fuel guage is stuck on full.Tried searching previous topics and found some discussion of accessing the sending unit by cutting a hole in the floor. Looking for someone who has done this, and what they did to patch the floor and / or install some sort of access panel. Any thoughts on a diagnosis procedure would also be appreciated. I realize the guage is very innacurate at best but I would still love to get it to function.

I think if you talk to the factory they may be able to give you the location to cut a hole in floor. Be careful not to go too deep as you will also cut into tank

In our 2008 R25 the fuel tank sender is under one (the one towards the stern) of two hatches located in the cabin walkway. The fuel tank pickup is further back and I had to cut a hole to get to it. As mentioned in the other post, you have to be very careful not to cut hoses or tank when installing this hatch. If I could figure out how to post pics, I have some of this process. I've written to the mods and they say I'm good to go, just can't seem (old) to make it happen. rich

Love your boat's name! It is interesting you reference to exiting hatches in the cabin walkway, we don't have any that I am aware of. Also would love to see your pics if you can get them posted. Thanks to each of you for the replys.
