anyone know where the fuse for the water pressure pump is on a 25sc?

The breaker panel light is green but The system does not pressurize. Yes I have water in the tank

Thanks

If the green light is on you should have power. You might have a blockage. Did you try both faucets? Go to the pump and disconnect the outlet side of the water.First turn the water pressure switch off so water does not flow all over the place. Have someone by the pump with a rag and container to catch the water.Hit the pressure switch and see what happens. If you get water,Now find the blockage. Still no water check your screen at the pump. Still no water check that there is power at the pump.

Let us know how it goes and we can take it from there.

If there is a blockage in the screens going into the faucets, which happens frequently, the water pressure usually does not stop completely all at once. Another easy way to check if the pressure system is working is to open the drain on the hot water heater with the pressure system on. There should not be any blockage there and it is not a bad Idea to flush it out once in a while anyway. A hose attached to the faucet going overboard and you can do it without getting water all over.

Ok. I opened the water heater drain and flipped on the panel switch for the water pressure. Nada. Nothing happened

According to my owners manual the Fresh Water Pump is a 5 amp fuse located in the fuse block behind the Dash Panel. Assuming your 2014 is the same as my 2015 - If you pull down the cover to the dash panel from the V-berth the block is mounted on the cabinet door. the Fresh Water Pump fuse should be the third one from the bow on the midships side. My wire is marked "water gauge" but that is supposed to be the pump fuse. It is between the three amp fuse for the Stereo and the 5 amp fuse for the TV.
FYI: Two up and on the other side of the block is the 20 amp wiper park fuse which other links have suggested we replace with a 5 amp fuse because we normally do not park all four wiper motors at once and if one gets stuck you can fry the motor with the 20 amps.

I decided I would go out to the boat and pull that 5 amp fuse that the manual says is for the water pressure pump and see if that was really it. Pulled the fuse turned on the switch for water pressure and it still worked. So it is not the fuse with the wire labeled water gauge (even thought that is what the fuse guide for the R25 says should be the slot for the pump fuse). Most of them appear to be as indicated in the chart. So I crawled around looked at all the wires, tried to find a brown wire with yellow tracer (which is what appears to go to the water pressure pump) and I have absolutely no idea where the fuse is for the water pressure pump. If you find it please let us know. This may require factory support! :?:

I did discover that the switches on the panel to turn on the bilge pumps do not work if the house battery is not on. I hope the auto switches to the bilge pumps are wired directly to the batteries but it is late and I did not test them. (Boat is high and dry in the garage so not an issue for me at this hour.)

The bilge pump sensors are wired before the house switches. There is a cluster of in line fuses before the switch and both bilge pumps should be in that cluster. I still think you may have a clogged line or perhaps a bad pump though.

My Stern bilge pump is definitely wired wrong. The hot wire to the float switch is wired to the panel.

Next time I go to the boat which may take a few days I am going to try to find that water pressure fuse. Thank you to everybody who has replied and even troubleshooted it on their own boats. Maybe we can solve the mystery of the water pressure fuse to benefit all…

Without ever having looked at my fresh water pump, is there a way to check for 12v at the pump? Could the pressure switch on the pump (if that's where it is) be stuck or otherwise nonfunctional?

The way I checked the power at the pump was to pierce the wires with my pointed ends on the multi meter.

And here is a silly question. I assumed that since the "switch" in the panel is also a breaker that there wouldn't be another fuse related to the items on the panel. So, why would the water pressure pump have a fuse somewhere else?

well, one mystery solved. I will check for "power to the pump" as for "power to the people" you are on your own....

Water pump is breaker protected at the switch. Sounds like the pressure switch is stuck in the pump and need a new one.
