Are there specific types of blade fuses that are better than others? I know the sizes I need, but I see so many fuses online that seem to be the same, but the descriptions indicate ATC, ATO, APR, and ATS. Are these all the same for the purposes of my Cutwater?

I have used ATO, ATC and APR fuses. They will all fit. The ATO is the original and the others function the same and are called standard blade. I believe the installed fuses are clear ATO. I have never paid attention to the difference. I install standard blade with required amp. I have never had an issue. If available I look for Bussmann, for no reason other than they have been around for a long time.

Thank you!!

Lifted from the web:
ATO fuses and ATC fuses are regular-sized automotive blade fuses. They are interchangeable, provided the amperage rating is the same, with one major difference. The O in ATO refers to the open housing space between the blades that exposes the fusible element. The C in ATC stands for closed housing, which protects the fusible element from moisture and other factors that can cause corrosion or damage.
