My Fushion radio on my 2016 Ranger 25SC all of a sudden will not turn on. I have checked all the connections behind it, and changed the fuse (even though it wasn't the fuse). Can anyone give me some suggestions about what/where to check next?

Mine did that once and I turned off all the power (house and engine) and restarted. Fixed it.

The Fusion in my Cutwater would shut off and freeze up. I would hold the power button for about 10 seconds. This resets the radio. It will shut down and "reboot" Then turn on and function again.

When we bought our 2015 C28 the Fusion radio screen was on, radio would not function, but the screen would not turn off. I tried every reset option, read the manuals, and had the boatyard techs take shot at it, but nothing. The screen would stay on, but no function.

I replaced it with a Fusion MS-RA70NSX for $299.00. It works great. I hope you can get yours to reset and function.

The Fusion on my R21EC has two fuses. One in the fuse box and an inline one for the memory that's tied into a "live" connection at my master switch. My radio will not come on if the fuse for the memory is pulled or blown. Yours may not be like this but it's worth taking a look.

Thank you, everyone. I will try those suggestions and see if that gets it working again.

The Fusion system on my 2014 C28 died this spring - checked all the connections, fuses, power at the connectors etc. it simply wouldn’t power up after trying all the recommended troubleshooting. Ended up replacing it with a Boss MRC5 enclosure (not because it is a wet location, but more to fill the larger gap from an old Fusion system), and slid a single DIN Kenwood non-marine system into it. For $120 all in, it works great and while it does not connect to the NMEA, it does Bluetooth, phone calls over the radio, USB etc - and in a C28 the reach from the captain’s station across the companionway road turn it up or down is just as easy as looking down at the Garmin to do the same. The dark Boss enclosure nicely matches the smoked Lexan cover over the ‘glovebox’ above it

The first 'fix' I tried worked! I held the power button in for 10 or so seconds, waited a couple more seconds after releasing it, and it turned on. I was able to cancel an appointment on Friday with a marine electronics person. Thank you all very much!
