Hi Gang,

I'm interested in upgrading the stock Fusion MS-CD600 which is in my 2012 R-27. I'd like to install a new Fusion Apollo unit and was curious if the wiring harness connector is the same on both units as I'm hoping for something that is basically plug-and-play. Has anyone upgraded their original receiver? This may be a question for Fusion tech support, but since it's the weekend I thought I'd try here first.

Easter blessings everyone!!

Cheers,
Mark

Good morning:

Last year, YOLO (2011 R-27) upgraded to the UD-755. It was plug and play all the way. Even purchased a Sirius XM module.

Now we get all the radio stations and bluetooth the iPhone music through the stereo.

WooHoo!! Thanks Barry - Now I have another boat social distancing project to add to the list. 🙂

Cheers,

another option is to add the bluetooth module to your CD600 so you can use your phone as the music source more easily. its a lot cheaper.

personally I just have a long 3.5mm to RCA cable plugged into the AUX and use that for music.
