Fusion Sirius Connection for Sirius Radio

So my Fusion radio appears to have the Sirius feed coming in from the aux port vice the Satellite radio port. I poked around behind the radio and confirmed the aux port was being used and the 9 pin connector for the satellite feed was not used. Anyone else have this type of connection. I’m not a Sirius subscriber and don’t plan on becoming one. I’m now using the aux connection with a mini Bluetooth receiver with an RCA plug to 3.5mm adapter.
