Hello all,
I have almost no water pressure at the galley sink but good pressure at the head sink ( 2015 R25 SC) Supposedly there is a back-flow valve that may be the culprit. How do I access it?
Thanks,
Roger in Portland

I don't have any backflow valves in my freshwater system. I would first try the screen at the faucet outlet itself, pop it out and make sure it's clean.

Yes I did that. No change in flow. Any other ideas, anyone? I know I'm not the first with this issue. It used to have good pressure at the galley.
Thanks

Check both ends of the flexible hose. On our R27 there was a backflow valve at the connection under the sink and a small screen at the connection to the faucet head. The hose connection under the sink is a tight space. There is a small set screw. If you loosen that it should slide off. I think the connection at the faucet head just unscrews.

My galley faucet had a water conservation flow restrictor in the hose. Same symptoms until I took it out.

I had done all the above recommendations and still had poor pressure on the galley faucet. I removed all the internal parts of the faucet, re-installed and had no improvement. I eventually removed the entire faucet from the sink. I found that inside the copper connection tubes were two fine screens, they were a couple of inches up inside the tubes. I couldn't remove them so I broke the screens and that resolved the issue.

Thanks all! Kenny at the factory said there is a fine screen at the spray head/ hose junction. There is and it was almost completely clogged with " gunk" of an unidentifiable nature. Also there was some material partially clogging the aerator screen at the tip of the spray head. So two screens in the flow to catch junk. There's no check valve this model.
So clean screens now and normal pressure, at least till the next clog-up.

Different topic: Has anyone installed a line/rope cutter on the prop shaft? Thinking about doing so, since I've had two instances of line fouling my prop. There's' no way of even seeing what you are dealing with
without going in the water..

Thanks

There are different opinions on their effectiveness. I read an article about them and the comment made by a diver was that over half the boats he was called on to clear the prop had cutters. And when the cutters are on it is more difficult to remove the line. Due diligence while cruising is key
