Galvanic Isolator install 2014 R-29C

I purchased a Galvanic Isolator from Ranger Tug. Where is the best location to tap into the shore power ground line (green Wire) on a 2014 R-29C. Thanks in advance Paul Happel Boat name PUFFIN

I would also like to know. We're in the process of buying a '14 R29 and I just found out today that the previous owner didn't have one.

In my 2012 - 29, it is installed in the corner of the port side in the cockpit fishing/bait station locker, and against the transom.

Thanks for the reply, The question is where is the logical and easiest place to hook into the shore power wiring system. Some people cut into it at (before or after) the the breaker switch in the stern locker and I have read about cutting into the shore power system in other areas of the boat. I need to find the optimal location. Paul Happel Boat Name PUFFIN.

My understanding is as close to the source. I installed mine right after the shore power receptacle.

I installed one in my R31. Under rear seat very close to inlets, still had to extend wires. Moved Gen. coolant tank to make room. See pictures I posted.

Hello Paul,

You want to install the galvanic isolator after the shore power outlet and before the ELCI breaker. You can mount the unit right next to the ELCI breaker under the bait well.
