Not familiar with the Cutwater layout however a galvanic isolator should be mounted as close to the interior boat side of your shore power connection as possible. On our R29S the shore side connection is on the starboard side of the boat close to the cockpit. There is an upright locker close by that I could access the cables for splicing and connecting the isolator. Measure twice or more before cutting!!
