I noticed a couple of gaps where things had disappeared. The first gap we noticed is behind the shelf in front of the helm. A metal deck key on a floating key chain disappeared down there. Retrieved easily enough through the door in the berth that accesses the area. I wondered about the metal deck key around the power connections. I slit a swim noddle and packed that in there. The second area that has a gap is the port side under the window just to the left of the wooden opening cave door. That area we discovered to missing paperwork. I was a little windy and the paper with the codes for the marina showers and Wi-Fi codes turned up missing. My wife noticed the gap and we took a fly swatter with some reverse duct tape and fished out about 50 ranger Tug brochures and the missing marina info. (Marc that why you kept running out of literature at the shows). More sliced swim noodle closed the gap. I did not see another way to access that area where the papers had disappeared into? Just a thought for the Factory that these areas might be closed off as I couldn't see any real purpose for the gaps. Not a criticism more of an observation.

I will start looking there first for the missing sock to all my mismatched pairs. Their secret hiding place is now solved.

In thinking about the helm area's gap. Maybe this was left open as heat needs to escape from the built in electronics. I'll try a different method of closing that off to falling objects with some sort of screen arrangement that can keep things from falling down there while letting the electronics breathe.

That gap at the cave is a perfect spot to store your large chart books. Charts are out of te way and nothing falls into the Gap. Don't know why it is here though.

Dave:

With all those brochures pulled out of the port side gap Tinytown probably will not have a slight list to port anymore!!!

D.D.: The gap at the hinge end of the swing up chart table is a 'Frank Anne' sort of space. A tip for our R-25 (Classic) I had on this forum several years ago was to simply place a round cloth hanger wooden rod of about 3' in length over that gap. Simple and VERY effective.

Baz,
I did just that. The swim noddle looked tacky. I even put a natural stain on the wooden dowel. Thanks.
