On an R 25 OB there doesn’t seem to be a convenient place to put a bag or a can of garbage.
What is everyone using ?

In our R23, we place it at the cave entrance along with our beverage cooler. See image below.

I also have a OB R25. I put a small waste basket under the dinette table and strapped it to the pole. Works fine for me. It's close and doesn't take much space.

Thanks. I tried that but it seems my friends make more garbage than should be allowed, lol

I have the 25 as well and use a little car trash can - 3 gallon one that I secure on the cockpit poles. I purchased on Amazon, but it might be small for your needs (link below). It does match the piping on the boat, as a plus. - see link below.

I didn’t get the outdoor grill, so I have some free space in the cockpit white cabinet on the port side. That has the door, so could keep the trash out of sight.

Thank you all. Your ideas have been very helpful and I will try them all. A grocery bag hanging from a locker knob was just not acceptable on a beautiful R 25
Thanks again

We have a 2023 R27OB and considered several options. We wanted the solution to be somewhat inconspicuous, but large enough to be actually functional.

On the port side helm seat there is a step into which we could put a small bin. Yes, it makes stepping up into the seat a bigger step, but our 5’0” Admiral can do it!

We bought this particular bin on Amazon, but there are several alternatives. The bins takes small trash bags (4 gallon size), and can last a day+ before changing.

Note: our little boat dog is trained on pads and we can use 3+ a day. Those along with our human trash goes into the bin. BTW, the Admiral and Captain are not pad trained!

Here is a picture.
