Could anyone help me find the 3 parameters that can be set when using the Auto Nav feature. I've consulted the User Manual and looked everywhere. Can't find it. I have a new R29S.
Thanks, Bob

Which three parameters? Do you mean min depth, distance from shore and min height of overhead obstructions? I have a 7215 chart plotter, probably not the same as far as getting to menus, but you should have gotten two black bags full of component info. There should be a big Garmin Manual in there for your chart plotter.

Are you talking about the AutoPilot feature? There is Auto Planning your route feature based on depths, etc but I believe that is something that is only available with the BlueChart software. I am not positive though.

For the autonav or auto routing feature you need the blue charts inserted

While it works in general pretty nice be sure to examine the suggested routes. I have seen some
Unusual routing results that garmin had no explanation for

You have to specify some parameters that aid the routing like your draft and distance to shore for it to function

I have the blue chart chip. I didn't get a Garmin manual in my bag. The whole manual is on the Garmin.
Tried to follow its instructions to no avail. I think called my Ronnie will be the solution.

You should be able to download the manual for your plotter at the Garmin website (garmin.com). Type the model number of your plotter into the search box on the home page, click on the plotter in the search results and you should see some download options on the next page.
