Garmin chart updates

I currently have the New York-Chesapeake VUS038R chart and the BlueChart g3+Lake Vu g3 Built-in showing in Active Captain. Both need updates and I see Garmin has the sale on the BlueChart update.

Question: If I update the BlueChart data (which gives me the autoroute function) do I need the other chart (New york-Chesapeake)?
