Garmin Cheat Sheet

I created a basic Garmin Cheat Sheet to help remind me of how to do some of the basic operations. Unfortunately not able to attach, any ideas on how to share this information?

No I do not have facebook so can not post to public forum.

I did offer the Cheat Sheet to Garmin at the Rendezvous to see if they would add to their quick start guide.

What format is the cheat sheet in? Is it a Word doc, Excel spreadsheet, Adobe PDF, etc?

I have added the following for my self using my Garmin 7612 unit which may be a bit different from your 7610...

To add Fuel
Home > Gauges & Controls > Pick/select "Fuel" > Menu > Add Fuel to Boat > Enter gallons pumped in

Auto Guidance to create a Safe Course
Home > Info > Services > Search By Name > Enter a name & select > Navigate To > Auto Guidance (the route is calculated) > Start Navigation

Locating a Saved Route
Home > Nav Chart > Menu > Waypoint & Tracks > Route & Auto Guidance > Saved routes will be displayed

If you want to Auto Guidance to a Saved Route then...
Highlight it > Review > Navigate To

I really like the graphic interface. Looking forward to the next page dealing with autopilot (I find Garmin's design of this system particularly mediocre as in some instances you need to address the other screen to reinitialize settings-ugh they don't get a passing grade on that one)

I do not have autopilot so will not be adding anything for that feature. All for now, enjoy
