I've got the Garmin 7610xsv installed on my R-23 OB. Just did a firmware update to 15.10 and wanted to pass along what happened to my display after the installation. (This issue never occurred in the three or four previous updates.)
After I fired up the engine and turned the Garmin on I discovered that all engine data had been lost. Here's a list of items I lost:
RPM
Fuel Flow
Total Engine Time
Coolant Temperature
Oil Pressure
(There may have been more engine data lost but I can't remember off hand)
The data was normal on the Yamaha Engine Monitor but was lost on the Garmin. After checking all the connections I went back to the engine set up on the Garmin and noticed that Garmin changed the engine identifier from numbers (1 and 2, etc) to P (Port) and S (Starboard). This will require you to dive deep into the sub menu and I figured it out accidentally by trial and error. For each of the engine parameter you want to display on the Garmin you're going to have to get to the sub menu, then "select engine" and then select "P". (P was the only selectable option)
If this happens to you don't despair.. There's a fix but it may take you a while to figure it out.
