Garmin GHC 20 autopilot blank screen

Hello, My autopilot on my Garmin screen is blank I have replaced the batteries on the handheld the screen is blank however I can control the boat with the handheld. If anyone has a fix please

It's most likely not blank. The dimmer is most likely set to its lowest setting. Look at it while it's dark outside, all the lights off in the boat and hopefully you'll be able to see the screen so you can adjust the backlight to brighter.

Alternatively... if it's light out and you want to give this a shot.. I wrote this down for another boater last year who ran into the same problem.

1 Turn on the autopilot.
2 Click the center button
3 Click the right button 4 times
4 Click the center button
5 Click the right button 3 times
6 Click the center button
7 Click the right button 2 times
8 Click the center button
9 Click the left button up until you can see the screen.

Hopefully this fixes it for you.
