Am fishing on the Columbia river. Am considering adding Garmin livescoope, has anyone done it?

I have a c-288 dual outboard.

Where did you mount the transducer? How well does it work
 
I plan to install a Livescope using a pole mount system for the Transducer. I have the setup on my fishing boat and want to be able easily port it over to my Ranger Tug. I have the Traxtech pole and plan to mount the tracks on the rail cockpit rail.
