I just replaced most old Garmin electronics on my RT25SC with new Raymarine equipment (Axiom+ MFD/Quantum Radar). Easy replacement with MFD & Radar connecting via wifi. No need to pull cables, just replace connector on Garmin Radar pwr cable with Quantum Radar connector and splice in new MFD PWR cable. The only fly in th ointment is the old/triditional Garmin P79 Transducer; 6 pin connector with only 3 active, providing a depth olny analogue interface. The tranducer has been working very well on the old Garmin system and I would like to use it on the new Raymarin system and not install a new one where I would need to dissamble parts of the boat to pull the new cable. I have scoured the web and even asked "Claude", but no luck in finding a solution to adapting the triditional tranducer to the Raymarine MFD. I assume that there would be no way to directly connect to the Raymarine MFD, however converting the tranducer output to NEMA 2000 might be an approach. Anyone attempted a similar effort or have ideas on how to proceed.
