Question: Should I be able to access the internet on a device connected to the Garmin's WiFi? I thought I could when I first set it up, but now nothing will connect to the internet, IPhones say they're using LTE.

Finally pulled the Harbor Freight 2000 generator out of the cave and ran it for 7 hrs on one tank of fuel, while running the AC! The AC started right up and ran all day. Not bad for $429.99 on sale + the extended 2 yr warranty.

The Garmin Wi-Fi is hosted by the Garmin chart plotter and as such provides a local private network and does not provide access to the internet. Your iPhone can connect to the Gasrmin chart plotter's host Wi-Fi if that's what you want. I use an Apple TV connected to my boat's TV and have it connected to the Garmin chart plotter's Wi-Fi and share its display to the TV for 1st Mate in the V-berth.
