Might you recommend training material for the Garmin? We're still pretty confused with it: Active Captain, and AIS. Is there anyone who can give us instructions?

Look online for "Garmin training videos". You should find a link to Garmin product support. They have several videos covering many of their systems.

You may have already found them if you did the internet search but YouTube.com has a number of videos to explain how to use Garmin equipment.
