Generator Question

When I run the generator (shore power off and AC dial switched to generator) - should the meter show voltage? Mine does not show anything while generator is running....good/bad/ideas????

Yes the meter should show voltage anytime there is voltage to the panel if it is wired correctly.

On my MASE 2.7 there is a breaker on the output of generator . Not sure what you have but might be worth a look. I also had
to replace the capacitor because of low voltage.

Yes, the panel analog meter should show voltage. Mine does not show a full 110/120V (but rather around 80/90V) until I actually have an AC load running. G

As noted I’d check the breaker on the gen first. This happened to me too. After resetting the breaker no further problems.

Should be on the front panel close to the start switch.

It’s on the generator itself. On my 2017 R29 CB I remove the forward sound enclosure and it’s located to the port side above the capacitor. It’s a red button if I recall properly.
