Do anyone know if it is possible to remove the generator from my Ranger Tug 31CB without cutting into the fiberglass? It looks like it is really built in there, and the opening under the rear seat looks small.
I never use it and would like to get rid of the weight. It would also help bringing the bow down.

You may get some information on this by posting the question on the "Ask the Ranger Tug" factory forum. They are very good at responding to questions from owners.
Just a thought. I hope you get the answers you need.
I was able to remove my 3.5 NextGen generator in my 2015 28 Cutwater for some service work and reinstalled it following the repairs. It was a few years back and after having 5 back surgeries, and a sixth one scheduled for March 10th, I don't think I could do it again.......hey, maybe that was the reason for all of the back surgeries!??!
I will say taking it out was easier than reinstalling it so that would be an advantage.
Good luck!!
Terry
