Good Morning!

I've been searching the "site" for "User Groups" but couldn't find any.
Would like to find and communicate with fellow Ranger Tug owners located on Vancouver Island,
or to be more specific, in Nanaimo, BC.

Is there such a group and I just haven't been able to find them on the site?

If you're referring to User Groups to mean periodic meetings at land based meeting hall locations then I know of none. Ranger Tugs along with the Ranger Tug community do hold annual meetings at specific Marinas, such the latest one in Anacortes for the PNW area Tugs.

You might contact Ranger Tugs at their office in Kent, WA and ask your question.

I'm sure there are several Ranger Tugs in your area. So check this forum for these owners and PM them to see if you can enlist them for local meetings.

Bruce Moore operates a global map that identifies Ranger Tug owners and their locations. Check this global map out or PM Bruce for more info on this. See this https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=...86.171875&t=h&z=2&iwloc=00048f234a1a28faa7bde

Hi Bob - informal user groups often form around ongoing or recurring topic threads here on Tugnuts. Scan the topics in the Cruises and Gatherings forum, and you'll see how this happens. There is no formal factory structure for user groups in Puget Sound, as far as I know. You might check with Port Boat House about such groups in BC, but I'm not aware of any formal groups up there, either.

I suggest you launch a new topic in Cruises and Gatherings and see what happens.

Cheers,

Bruce

HI thanks for the suggestions:

However, I do not want to set up a physical group meeting locally.

I understand what you are telling me, but I just want to be able to contact" local" Ranger Tug owners by email or telephone in the area for information on local mechanics, electricians etc.

Bob
